Who is she?

Prudence Blowhole is a cabaret artist, cryptozoology expert, romance novel enthusiast, unlicensed sex therapist, kooky aunt, sing-a-long initiator, and guest lecturer at a bar near you.

With assistance from her band of jazz professors (Amy K Bormet and Matt Dievendorf), they create genre-fluid, surprisingly well-researched, musical dissertations on a variety of saucy subjects.

Her first show, Sex Monster, has attracted the attention of perverts across the Washington, D.C. area, selling out historic jazz clubs, queer bars, and haunted mansions.

Sex Monster was awarded a project grant in 2025 and 2026 by the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, which receives funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
